Method: This asan can be performed either in a sitting or a standing position. To benefit fully from this asan, it is advisable to include Uddiyana Bandhasan also. Sit down with your knees bent, just as one sits for namaaz; place both hands on the knees, keep the arms straight; bend your body slightly forward from the waist, but keep your backbone straight. Do not let it coil or bend.
Take three or four deep breaths, then exhale completely. Pull the stomach in, open the mouth as much as possible, and stick the tongue out, open the eyes to the maximum and look straight - just like a tiger sticking out its tongue.
